Privacy

This site has no server behind it that collects anything about you.

There is no analytics on this site, no advertising network, no social widget and no font or script loaded from somebody else's machine. Open the page with the network panel showing and you will see requests for this site's own files and nothing else.

What stays in your browser

Three things, all of them local: whether you answered the age question, whether you dismissed the cookie bar, and the guest note if you chose to make one. These sit in your browser's own storage. They are not transmitted, and we cannot read them.

What the house holds on paper

A booking written in a book at the desk: a name, the dates, a telephone number, and anything you told us you can't eat. The book is kept in the office and the pages from closed years go into a box in the roof. Nothing from it is typed into a computer.

Your rights, and who to go to

You can ask to see what the book says about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be struck out. Ask at the desk or write. If you think we have handled it badly, the body to contact is the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia, which oversees private sector privacy in this province.

Changes

If this changes, the page changes, and the date at the foot of it changes with it. There is no mailing list to tell.
