Kept in your browser, not on our machine
Guest account
An account here remembers the things you'd otherwise repeat at the desk. It stays in this browser and goes nowhere.
Regular guests get tired of saying the same four things every time: which room they like, what they can't eat, whether the dog is coming, and which name the booking is under. This page keeps those in your own browser so you can read them back to us quickly.
Nothing is sent anywhere. There is no server behind this page, no account on our side, and no password that we could lose. If you clear your browser data it is gone, and if you open the site on another device it will not be there.
What is stored, exactly
- The name you want on the book
- A room shape you prefer, if you have one
- Anything you can't eat
- Whether you travel with a dog
What is not stored
No card details, no address, no date of birth, and no telephone number. The desk holds the booking itself in a paper book, which is where it has been since 1984 and where it will stay.
Play happens in one room of this building and nowhere else. No bets are taken online, no accounts are held, and no money moves through this site.
